It is now widely accepted that society and global economy are in the midst of a communication revolution; the new era that is dominated by mobile. From the advent of human language thousands of years ago, to the evolution of the stylus and written communication, to the invention of the printing press and the personal computer, there have been a number of moments in history that have changed the way we entertain ourselves, share ideas and ultimately, live our lives. The enthusiasm for mobile satisfies the fundamental human need of “being always connected” and stems in part from its ability to liberate people by provoking an instinct for exploration and a desire for novelty.

Mr. George Zenzefilis, General Director of INTRALOT Interactive, talked to Paul Jason of Public Gaming Research Institute (www.pgritalks.com) at INTRALOT Interactive booth during ICE 2013, London, February 5th.

Main focus of the interview was the latest trends in the gaming industry and how operators should adapt to the new consumers’ habits. Here are some highlights.

From the moment a player registers we can monitor his habits and preferences, therefore gathering data become a very important part of our business. Unravelling European iGaming in Barcelona

A. It is our strong belief that innovation now transcends all of our players’ habits and certainly those related to mobile interaction as well as Internet and home entertainment. We have managed to seamlessly integrate all of our technologies so as the player is now the center of attention. Although player centricity has been a much-desired dream for a lot of companies, this has been no challenge for us since from the early start we have adapted those practices and design principles that have led to Universal Gaming Experience. Intralot unveiled the “Lottery of the Future” at the EL Industry Days 2012

Almost 250 delegates from lotteries all over Europe met at the picturesque Amsterdam during the first week of May on the occasion of the EL Industry Days 2012. Sharing of knowledge, Networking and Entertainment were perfectly combined at this unique event, where European Lotteries discussed how they should adapt to the new technological innovations and consumer needs so as to move “Towards an Entertaining and Sustainable Future”.

The European Lotteries & Toto Association in conjunction with the two Dutch Lotteries, De Lotto and Nederlandse Staatsloterij, with the support of Intralot and its other Premium Partners prepared a challenging and stimulating program which encouraged lottery experts and key decision makers to share their wide experience and unveil the future of the lotteries at their own perspective.

A two-day event full of innovative ideas & gaming trends, supported by Intralot

Pioneering gaming ideas, state-of-the-art prototypes and the new trends of the Gaming industry were revealed at the 1st Gaming Forum in Athens, Greece, on April 27 & 28, held by the Athens Information Technology (AIT) and co-organized with the British Council. Intralot was the Gold Sponsor of the Forum that sets the basis of an annual event dedicated to gaming innovation and gamification.

Game developers, industry professionals, academics and pure gaming enthusiasts came together in two days of learning, networking, socializing and game-playing.
