INTRALOT COMPLETES Bit8 ACQUISITION

The INTRALOT Group announces the signing of a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire, via INTRALOT Global Holdings BV, the remaining 65% of Bit8, a gaming technology company in Malta, in which INTRALOT first invested in 2015. Bit8 is an established gaming company with market-tested, award winning gaming platforms, stand-alone and hosted solutions and a large portfolio of international clients.

In the past two years of INTRALOT’s strategic cooperation with Bit8 the technology teams of the two companies worked closely for the development of INTRALOT’s novel CRM (Customer Relationship Management), platform PULSE, available in Retailer and Player versions that work seamlessly to enhance the value delivered to both Operators and Players.

INTRALOT GROUP CEO Antonios Kerastaris stated: “I am very excited to complete the acquisition of Bit8 by INTRALOT at the end of a two-year joint product development partnership that has secured for INTRALOT, among other benefits, PULSE, a world-class CRM system.

INTRALOT EXPANDS ITS WLA SCS & ISO 27001 CERTIFICATION IN CHILE AND THE US STATES OF LOUISIANA AND MONTANA

INTRALOT has been awarded the World Lottery Association Security Control Standard
(WLA SCS:2016) and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its operations in Chile and in the States of Louisiana and Montana in the US, in line with the Group strategic priority to meet the highest global security standards.

The new certifications cover all corporate functions of each operation, formalizing the existing management systems that control the integrity of the games and corporate conduct as a whole and are complementary to the WLA SCS, ISO 27001, ISO 20000,
ISO 9001, ISO 29990 and ISO 14001 certificates of INTRALOT Headquarters in Athens, Greece.

The certifications cover the complete life cycle of system and service design, development, implementation, support and operation in a particular country. The audits were performed by TUV Nord, one of the world’s largest certification bodies which performed on-site inspections, examining the local operations.

“Boosting transparency and integrity standards is a strong prerequisite for sustainable growth and value creation in the digital era. To this end INTRALOT provides reliable systems and solutions of the highest qualifications. We are proud to extend our WLA security certification credentials in three more jurisdictions as part of the continuous improvement of our offering to players and business clients,” stated INTRALOT’s Group COO Mr. Nikos Nikolakopoulos.

Mr. Thierry Pujol, WLA SRMC Chair, added: “INTRALOT is being WLA SCS:2016 certified with 3 new jurisdictions (Chile, States of Louisiana and Montana in the USA). The WLA SCS:2016 is now a reference in terms of transparence and governance in the lottery business industry. With a total of 137 controls WLA SCS:2016 is a strong, mature and reliable standard. Antonios Kerastaris, Intralot Group CEO, at the 6th Entrepreneurship and Career Forum in Athens

INTRALOT Group CEO Antonios Kerastaris addressed the 6th Entrepreneurship and Career Forum in Athens in a CEO panel discussing “The Road to professional success”.

Mr. Kerastaris emphasized that in order to be internationally competitive a company needs to adapt to short product cycles, the vast expansion of sales channels in the online era, and an environment with fewer and bigger competitors with an expanding portfolio diversity. This requires human capital that is very open to adaptive change or professionals who are willing to see their careers and skill-collecting experiences built internationally.

INTRALOT specifically is looking for people who have diverse mix of competences (engineering, business, management) who can develop fast the ability to analyze the different context of each country/market.

To that end, INTRALOT is actively pursuing a strategy for the creation of a “greenhouse” type process in skills creation for young people who are motivated to join the company with a mid- to long-term horizon and gain experience while working on assignments around the globe.
