Intralot brings the APAEs athletes to the 20th Special Olympics in Brazil

The time has nearly come for the 2.500 special athletes from all over Brazil who will come together in Maringá at the state of Paraná, between the 5th & 10th of November 2012, to compete in the 20th Special Olympics of APAEs (Association of Parents and Friends of Exceptional Children), in which they will show their abilities, break down barriers and overcome challenges!

Seventy-five special athletes from Minas Gerais will represent their state at this competition which is a tradition that dates back for 45 years!

Intralot, who always shows great support for such exeptional initiatives, will be providing the transportation for the athletes and members of the Minas Gerais delegation. This was announced by the CEO of Intralot Brazil – Mr Sergio Alvarenga, Intralot’s subsidiary in the country, during a special ceremony in Belo Horizonte, where the company and its partners in the initiative signed their agreement.

The Association of Parents and Friends of Exceptional Children (APAE) is a non-governmental organization, where parents, friends and the entire community come together to prevent and treat disabilities, as well as promote the welfare and development of people with disabilities.
